Storyboarding with the Three Act Structure

Let me ask you a few questions.
-Do you want to write a book?
-Have you ever wondered how to get started writing it?
-Do you have a head full of ideas and scenes, but no idea on how to put them together?

Then this youtube tutorial may help. It’s over the concept of Storyboarding. It’s worth a watch.
It’ll give you a great overview on how storyboarding is done and how to plot your book using the three act structure.

After watching it I think you’ll find that it’s easier to figure out where the scenes need to be placed in your overall plot.

Underworld by Meg Cabot

I’m miffed because I can’t get my countdown widgit to work on this blog. I’m brand new to WordPress so there’s a slight learning curve for me. (Tip of the Day: Remember when you are trying to learn something new, to give yourself a learning curve time before you go setting deadlines! It will save you a lot of stress!)

Anyway, I’m so excited because Meg Cabot’s Underworld is being released in 1 day, 5 hours, and 16 mins from the moment I’m writing this, and I’m so EXCITED! All I’ve got to say is go grab a copy!

Seriously!

Ok, since we’re friends, I’ll give you the scoop. Meg Cabot doesn’t just write books about grade school girls and princesses, she also writes YA paranormals! Book 1 in this series is titled, Abandoned, and I highly encourage you to get yourself a copy and read it first! It has a beautiful cover also!

Abandoned had been on my reading list for a while. I was able to grab a copy at my local library and I was blown away!

I have always loved greek mythology, especially the story of Hades. He’s something dark, wild and unpredictable. Meg’s take on his story of nabbing his lady love is fresh, interesting and had me hooked from Chapter 1. I devoured the novel in a day and gave it 5 stars. I fell in love with the characters and I wanted more of their story as book 1 left us on a cliffhanger of sorts!

I was soooo happy to find out that the sequel is being released!

There’s nothing better than counting down to a book release you’re dying to read! LOL! Seriously, get the books. Check out the author’s web site also for more info on this upcoming release!

Blessings!

Hello World! Here’s my Blog Mission!

Hello World!

I’m so excited to be launching this new site out into the web. I hope that this blog serves as an encouragement, inspiration and motivation for writers everywhere!

There seems to be two types of writers out there. The ones who churn out words easily by the hundreds and give birth to books, articles, blog posts, etc. every year and then there’s those writers who have a book in them or a passion to write, and yet can’t seem to get the words on the paper or pull it all together.

If you find yourself in either category, I hope this blog can serve a purpose for you.

Whether you are suffering from writer’s block or have no idea on how to construct a plot, or just find yourself in need of some inspiration; this place is for you!

I’ll be bringing you helpful tips, tricks, motivation and encouragement to help you with your writing.

Most importantly, I’ll hope to show you that if you have the desire, there is way for you to complete your project. You just have to keep reading to find a way to write that works for you!

Blessings!
